Long Vehicle Cut-in

This page has two sections. Use the top section to calculate cut-in of articulated vehicles, and the bottom section to calculate cut-in for rigid vehicles.

When there are 2 or 3 axles at the rear of the tractor or at the rear of the trailer adopt the average position of the axle group.

The calculated cut-in does not take into account tyre slip.

The distance m can be set to zero if you cannot find its actual value.
